• The Sunbeam Attendant Controlled Wheelchair is a great choice for occasional use or travel, with an incredibly strong but lightweight folding aluminium or steel frame.
• With both the foldable frame and backrest, this wheelchair can collapse into a much more compact size, making storage and transportation far easier.
• This wheelchair has a comfortable padded seat, padded armrests, and full-length side panels for additional support and security. It also features loop handle, lock down brakes that are easy to apply when you need to.
• If you’re using this wheelchair outdoors the puncture proof wheels help to give you extra peace of mind, whilst the excellent manoeuvrability makes it great for using indoors as well.
• Please note that the Attendant Propelled Wheelchair is not suitable to transport a seated user in a moving vehicle.

Sunbeam attendant propelled wheelchairs are a useful mobility aid designed to be comfortably pushed by an attendant, rather than being self-propelled by the person who is seated in the wheelchair. They help you take an individual who has limited mobility, or who is unable to propel a self-propelled wheelchair on their own. Some of the attendant propelled wheelchairs have beneficial features such as footrests, which can be easily moved aside to help when transferring the person in and out of the chair, and cable brakes for additional safety to help reduce speed, which is useful when going down the slope. Many of our lightweight attendant propelled wheelchairs fold down back, so they can be easily stored when not in use or put in the car for easy transportation.
